About the Artist
Entering my seventh year as a photographer I reflect on how I got here. After purchasing a metal print of the Jersey Shore at an art fair on the Atlantic City boardwalk, I started rummaging through old vacation photos and having them printed on metal and canvas. This is how my journey began in late 2015.
I began a website, started with street fairs, and began applying to art and craft shows. I'm pretty much self-taught and have upgraded my camera three times. In December of 2019 I retired from my real job and photography became my retirement gig.
Part of this adventure is my wife's fault, she introduced me to Europe! People ask me my favorite place, well usually it happens to be the last place I've traveled.
Mykonos and Santorini, blue domes and alleyways. Cinque Terre where everything is 500 steps up. Tuscany and the hill towns. The Amalfi Coast where driving is an adventure. Hallstatt in the winter. Castles in Germany. Tulips and bicycles in Amsterdam. Lavender fields in Provence. A view from the Eiffel Tower and canals in Bruges.
A little closer to home, changing leaves and covered bridges in New England and the Brooklyn Bridge. Not so close, trekking a glacier and a float plane landing in a fjord in Alaska.
Those are my favorites, and I am happy to share what I see through my lens with you.
Welcome to my world. Enjoy!
